Raw survey and floristic inventory data on cocoa-based agroforestry systems in Côte d'Ivoire (three cocoa-growing "loops", 2013-2016): anonymized version

<p>Raw socio-economic survey and floristic inventory data from 474 cocoa farms across 103 villages and hamlets in the three historical cocoa-producing zones of Côte d'Ivoire (the East/South-East, Centre/Centre-West, and South/South-West "loops"), collected between 2013 and 2016 as part of Adji et al.'s (2016) Master's thesis fieldwork.</p> <p>This dataset underpins an ecological and statistical reanalysis (Hill diversity numbers, PERMANOVA, data-driven hierarchical typology, linear mixed models).</p> <p>The workbook contains 4 sheets: (1) a socio-economic and agronomic questionnaire per farmer (34 variables); (2) a floristic inventory of associated tree species by locality; (3) a master species list used as a taxonomic reference; (4) a structural plot-level inventory with vertical stratification. Full column-by-column documentation is provided in the accompanying README.md.</p> <p><strong>Anonymization:</strong> the real names of the 451 surveyed farmers were replaced with coded identifiers (PL-001 to PL-451) prior to deposit, to protect their identity. No other variable was altered. See README.md for details of the procedure and its limitations.</p>
