Here you can find all the magnetic datasets produced for the article "Highlighting magmatic pathways and spatio-temporal evolution of mechanical heterogeneities using UAV magnetic prospecting at Piton de La Fournaise volcano, Réunion Island". mavic_2D_quspin_gen1_25_11_2022 is an Excel file containing a magnetic dataset acquired at Piton de La Fournaise volcano in November 2022, covering the September 2022 eruption area. The other Excel file, mavic_2D_quspin_gen1_14_05_2024, also contains a magnetic dataset acquired at the Piton de La Fournaise volcano in May 2024, covering the same area, in order to show the temporal evolution of the magnetic anomalies. To carry out these magnetic surveys, we used a UAV (mavic_2D: Mavic 2 Dual Enterprise) equipped with a magnetic sensor (quspin_gen1: quspin QTFM scalar). These magnetic datasets allow us to image volcanic systems and to characterise the spatio-temporal evolution of the magnetic signal at the Piton de la Fournaise volcano.
