Socio-demographic characteristics of caregivers.

Malaria remains a leading cause of morbidity and mortality among children under five in Cameroon. In 2021, the World Health Organization (WHO) recommended the RTS,S/AS01 malaria vaccine for children in areas with moderate to high transmission. This study assessed caregivers’ practices and factors associated with malaria vaccine uptake among under-five children in the Tiko Health District. A community-based cross-sectional study was conducted from March to April 2025, involving 410 caregivers of children aged 0–5 years. Participants were selected through multistage sampling.
