The name Wyndor and the production part of this problem is borrowed from a very popular OR textbook (Hillier and Lieberman (2012)). Our example extends the original Wyndor model to one in which the production plan is to be made while bearing in mind that the allocation of the advertising time slots affects sales of Wyndor products (two types of doors), and the final production plan will be guided by firm orders (sales) in the future.
