Unveiling the fountain: the MUSE view on the Sculptor

This dataset originates from The MUSE View of the Sculptor programme, an integral field spectroscopic survey of the star-forming disk of the nearby galaxy NGC 253, conducted using the Multi Unit Spectroscopic Explorer (MUSE) on the ESO Very Large Telescope (VLT). The data products include a fully combined, flux-calibrated, and astrometrically aligned mosaic datacube of NGC 253. This mosaic is complemented by a set of high-level derived maps and measurements generated using the PHANGS Data Analysis Pipeline (DAP), including emission-line fluxes, gas and stellar kinematics, moment maps, and other physical quantities relevant to star formation and feedback studies. The data products follow ESO Phase 3 standards for MUSE cubes, and, as such, are fully calibrated and are suitable for science use.
