RADIANT: Raw experimental data, Geant4 particle transport simulation source code and output, and statistical analysis files supporting a novel hydrogen-boron-graphene polyethylene composite spacecraft radiation shield study
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains all raw experimental data, Geant4 11.2.2 particle transport simulation source code and output files, and statistical analysis spreadsheets generated during the development and testing of the RADIANT multilayer spacecraft radiation shield. The RADIANT shield is a novel six-layer composite incorporating a hydrogen-boron-graphene polyethylene (HBGPE) composite as the primary radiation-stopping and neutron capture layer, a cerium-doped scintillation epoxy layer for radiation-to-photon energy conversion, and a graphene-polycaprolactone charge collection layer for electrical output generation. Files include raw electrical output measurements under controlled infrared energy input; thermal performance and mechanical deformation records; nineteen Geant4 simulation runs spanning protons, electrons, gamma rays, alpha particles, and neutrons including an angular dependence study and direct comparison against equivalent-thickness aluminium shielding; and linear regression, one-way ANOVA, and Shapiro-Wilk statistical analysis outputs. All data support findings reported in the associated manuscript submitted to Scientific Reports.
