Malaria-parasite survival of host fever is linked to artemisinin resistance

RNAseq data profiling two heatshock-sensitive P. falciparum piggyBac mutants with and without exposure to febrile temperatures. Overall design: Each run-folder contains paired-end fastq data for two complete bioreps of the three parasite lines (NF54 wild-type control; heatshock-sensitive mutants {delta}DHC and {delta}LRR5--referred to in sample-names as PB4 and PB31, respectively) collected after 8 hours with or without exposure to febrile temperatures (41C and 37C, respectively). All parasites were at ring-stage at point of harvest as verified by Giemsa-stained microscopy. Each sample was run twice on an Illumina Miseq--the second run using total reads for each sample from the first run to inform concentration needed for each sample in run2 to ensure equal coverage of all samples.
