Transcriptomic profile of peripheral blood neutrophils in COVID-19 and IPF (Homo sapiens Raw sequence reads). Homo sapiens

Polymorphonuclear neutrophils were isolated from heparin-anticoagulated peripheral blood of patients with Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) or idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) using Histopaque double-gradient density centrifugation. Neutrophils from healthy individuals with no history of COVID-19 or IPF at the time of inclusion served as the control group. The transcriptome of the isolated neutrophils was analyzed by RNA sequencing on an Illumina platform.
