This data product was digitally processed based on Volume 1: Hunan Qiyang Station of the *Farmland Ecosystem Volume* series, which falls under the *Dataset of Long-term In-situ Observations and Research on Chinese Ecosystems*. Through refining metadata and linking it with physical observational data, the data product for the long-term in-situ experiment of virgin soil maturation at Qiyang Station, Hunan Province was developed. Specifically, it includes observational data on crop biomass and yield measurement experiments conducted during the virgin soil maturation process.
