A dataset of spatial cognition experiment in virtual reality system

The study developed a data acquisition system based on Google 3D Map, utilizing landmarks as test sites, and conducted an experiment "Cognition Testing of Spatial Scenes" from September to December 2024.Through data processing methods including coordinate transformation and outlier filtering, combined with quality control mechanisms such as multiple validation and cognitive scoring, a dataset for spatial scene cognition was constructed, which can be used to effectively measure deviations in human spatial cognition within scenarios. The dataset consists of two data files: (1) SpatialScene.xlsx contains spatial scene data, comprising a total of 85 spatial scenes, with each scene including 15 basic information fields; (2) SpatialCognition.csv contains the subjects’ spatial cognition data, consisting of 4,212 valid data entries, where each sample data entry comprises 11 fields.
