资源简介:
The essay deals with the figure of Domenico Jaccarino (1840 - 1894), a literary man with multiple interests, translator of the Divina Commedia in the neapolitan dialect and founder of the Neapolitan Dante School, to which he associated, as an honor, Sigismondo Castromediano (1811 - 1895). The close friendship of "white duke" Castromediano with Giuseppe De Dominicis (1869 - 1905) author of the Canti de l'autra vita: 'Nfiernu Purgatoriu Paraisu (1900) in Lecce dialect, suggests an unusual common desire to make known, against the background of Italy united and effectively, Dante's poem also at a popular level.
