Stator copper loss of electric motors refers to the loss caused by current passing through copper windings during motor operation, making copper windings the largest source of internal losses in motors. It is usually calculated using the resistance under rated current and expressed as copper winding loss. Stator copper loss is one of the important indicators for measuring motor loss and efficiency. It not only affects the heat generation of the motor, but also causes problems such as reduced motor efficiency and shortened service life. Therefore, reasonable design and selection should be carried out according to specific requirements and conditions during motor design and selection. Based on national standards, the stator copper loss value of three-phase asynchronous motors under specific conditions can be determined, which provides reference and technical support for production enterprises to improve product quality, strengthen government supervision, and ensure consumer travel safety. 1. Data Collection: Randomly select and test the required values from motors produced by enterprises; 2. Data Detection: Test various parameters of three-phase asynchronous motors, including stator current I, winding initial terminal resistance R, loaded winding temperature T1, and winding initial terminal resistance temperature T2; 3. Data Processing: Collect the tested data, and calculate the stator copper loss value as X using the following formula: X = 1.5 × I² × R × (235 + T2) / (235 + T1). 4. Data Application: Real-time stator copper loss data of three-phase asynchronous motors can be measured. This data can be used to judge whether the heat generation of produced three-phase asynchronous motors meets the standards, ensuring production quality.
