Genome diversity of pathogenic Escherichia coli in Ecuador

Here, we used whole genome sequencing to investigate the genome diversity, pangenomic gene function, virulence potential and antibiotic resistance profile of more than 200 pathogenic E. coli strains isolated from individuals with or without diarrhea living in urban and rural regions in Ecuador.
