Brain transcriptome analysis in the cortex and hippocampus of Cyfip2 heterozygous mice at three different postnatal stages

To investigate age-dependent molecular changes in the cortex and hippocampus of Cyfip2 heterozygous mice, we conducted transcriptome analysis at postnatal weeks 1, 7, and 14. We dissected the frontal cortex and hippocampal regions from both hemispheres of each mouse. WT and Cyfip2 heterozygous mice were littermates, with four mice (replicates) prepared for each age-genotype group. After dissection, tissue samples were stored in RNAlater at 4°C overnight and then at -80°C before being processed further for RNA extraction.
