Glacier and Permafrost Thawing Drive the Age and Reactivity of Dissolved Organic Matter in an Alpine River, Southeastern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau

This dataset comprises experimental data collected from the Parlung-Yigong catchment in the southeastern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. We measured dissolved organic carbon concentration, fluorescence properties, ultra-high resolution mass spectrometry and radiocarbon isotopes for river water samples. Meanwhile, biodegradation and photodegradation experiments were also carried out, and the corresponding ultra-high resolution mass spectrometry data were obtained. Data1: This file includes data on DOC concentrations, fluorescence parameters, slope, MAP and land cover proportions for all samples. Data2: This file contains sample data of radiocarbon isotopes and ultra-high resolution mass spectrometry measurements. MOLECULAR_C14: This file compiles molecular formula datasets derived from ultra-high resolution mass spectrometry analyses of all samples. MOLECULAR_Degradation experiments: This file contains molecular formula obtained from ultra-high resolution mass spectrometry analyses of samples in degradation experiments.
