This present study was conducted to identify the potential candidate genes involved in source-sink relationship under heat stress in Aegilops peregrina. The two contrasting genotypes of A. peregrina 1C (heat stress tolerant) and A. peregrina 4C (heat stress sensitive) plants were subjected to heat stress at preanthesis stage. The trancriptome profiling was done under controlled and heat stress conditions to identify genes responsible for heat tolerance in A. peregrina.
