This dataset is applicable to medical institutions, enterprise users and scientific research institutions, and can be widely used in clinical diagnosis and treatment of thyroid cancer and scientific research and innovation work, as detailed below:
(1) Medical institutions: Provide high-quality OCT image data of thyroid cancer; assist doctors in analyzing OCT image features to provide real-time image references and optimize intraoperative decision-making; promote the establishment of OCT image diagnosis standards for thyroid cancer in the Chinese population, and facilitate the standardized clinical application of OCT technology.
(2) Enterprise users: AI medical companies can train deep learning models to achieve automatic segmentation and classification of thyroid cancer lesions, develop 3D visualization tools for OCT images to enhance the intuitiveness of diagnosis and optimize human-computer interaction experience; medical imaging equipment manufacturers can optimize the imaging performance of OCT probes based on the dataset, provide optical guidance benchmarks for surgical robot navigation systems, and improve surgical accuracy.
