Gloucester river types V03

## **Abstract** \n\nThe dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from multiple source datasets. The source datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.\n\nThe dataset is derived from the original River Types shapefile provided the NSW Office of Water for the Gloucester Basin. It has been clipped to the extent of the Gloucester Assessment Extent using the "clip" function in ArcGIS. It is similar to Version 2 except that stream lines are clipped to Gloucester Assessment Extent (AE) instead of the Preliminary Assessment Extent (PAE).\n\n\n\nThe AE is slightly larger than the PAE\n\n## **Dataset History** \n\nThe dataset is derived from the original River Types shapefile provided the NSW Office of Water for the Gloucester Basin. It has been clipped to the extent of the Gloucester Assessment Extent using the "clip" function in ArcGIS. \n\n\n\nThe source spatial layer is derived from an Ecohydrology classification product, which is used to identify river hydrology classification base of the degree on intermittency flow of the rivers (see section 1.3.2 How Ecohydrology Classification is used).
