16S V3-V4 Amplicons generated using thermal-bias PCR

This project evaluated the performance of a new 'thermal-bias PCR' technique for the generation of deep-sequencing libraries. The 16S V3-V4 variable regions of these bacterial genomes was amplified using thermal-bias PCR and sequenced using Illumina technology. The reads were trimmed of the Illumina adapters, but reatain the targeting primer sequences. Three Libraries were sequenced, two of which were spiked with reporter templates prior to amplification.
