资源简介:
The present study employs Populus nigra L. seedlings as the research object and compares and analyzes the morphology and ultrastructure of the poplar root system under different concentrations of C8-HSL treatments. For transcriptome sequencing, fine roots exhibiting significant phenotypic differences were selected. The results demonstrated that the impact of C8-HSL on the growth of poplar fine roots exhibited dual regulation. The results of the transcriptome analysis indicated that, under high concentration treatments, C8-HSL significantly up-regulated the expression of genes involved in secondary wall biogenesis (MYB46, MYB83, CESA, etc.) as well as genes related to polar transport of auxin (PIN, AUX, GH3.6, etc.). At low concentrations, C8-HSL induced up-regulated expression of calmodulin. This study demonstrated that C8-HSL affects poplar root growth and development in a dose-dependent manner. This is important for understanding the regulation of microbial chemical signals on the growth of tree roots and exploring the potential application of soil microorganisms in the growth and development of tree roots.
