Letters received by the Chief Gold Commissioner in Sydney from the various Assistant Gold Commissioners in the gold districts concerning the general administration of the gold fields. Two copies of "A geological map to accompany the Surveyor General's report on the Gold Fields in the Counties of Wellington and Bathurst", March 1852, have been extracted from this box and are now located at SR Map Nos. 6331-32.
