Bitter substances recovery from hot trub: a study of polymeric membranes performance in a sequential mode with fouling investigation

Experimental data from a thesis chapter aimed at developing strategies for mitigating membrane fouling in the processing of hop by-products. In this context, we seek to investigate the main fouling agents in polymeric membranes after the sequential mode operation of MF and NF utilizing ATR-FTIR, XPS, roughness (by atomic force microscopy, AFM), and contact angle techniques.
