The pool-sequencing data presented here are originating from the self-offspring of a Tunisian genotype of Daphnia magna (TN-RA-21). Precisely, the daphnia genotype TN-RA-21, originating from a pond in Tunisia, was brought back to our lab in Switzerland and allowed to reproduce clonally. Clonal sisters and brothers were then allowed to reproduced sexually to produce the so call self-offspring that was used to produced pools of individuals of different genotypes (due to genetic recombination). The pools vary according to their susceptibility to the isolate P15 of the bacterial pathogen Pasteuria ramosa. Overall 23 F1 TN-RA-21 resistant genotypes and 33 F1 TN-RA-21 susceptible genotypes were pooled respectively. Three replicates per pool were constituted (rep1 to rep3). These data were used to localized within Daphnia magna genome the locus associated with an alternative route of infection of P15 (i.e., foregut route of infection).
