CCTV camera monitoring system which includes 40-plus cameras in the CBD which record 24/7. The cameras are monitored by council staff at peak times.These staff are in two-way radio communication with police officers – as well as other stakeholders such as nightclub operators and taxi operators - to alert them to any incidents or potential incidents.\r\n\r\nThe screens are located at Geelong Police Station so that officers can monitor them at anytime.\r\n\r\nAlthough all due care has been taken to ensure that these data are correct, no warranty is expressed or implied by the City of Greater Geelong in their use.
