Survey data on the impact of Occupational Stress on Psychological Well-being of Teachers among Private Universities in India

This dataset presents the results of a comprehensive survey conducted to examine the impact of occupational stress on the psychological well-being of teachers working in private universities across India. The survey aimed to explore the various dimensions of occupational stress, including workload, job insecurity, role conflict, lack of administrative support, and work-life imbalance, and how these factors correlate with indicators of psychological well-being such as anxiety, depression, emotional exhaustion, job satisfaction, and overall mental health.

Data was collected from a diverse group of teaching professionals through structured questionnaires comprising both quantitative (Likert-scale items) and qualitative (open-ended responses) components. The sample included faculty members from various disciplines, age groups, and academic ranks (assistant professors, associate professors, and professors).
