Detailed dynamical laminar organisation in different cortical areas (in rats in vivo)

The objective of the study was to investigate the detailed dynamic laminar organisation in different cortical areas to highlight inter-area differences. Functional studies using electrophysiology will be paralleled with structural information from the same areas in collaboration with T1.4.1^[1] devoted to the detailed cellular and anatomical structure. Data was obtained from the thalamocortical interaction on visual cortex spontaneous activity in vivo in Wistar rats. ^[1] HBP funded projects with task ID T1.4.1 “Microanatomical and functional design of the cortical column” (SGA2)
