Bee colony monitoring data in Vecauce, Latvia, summer 2021

The dataset is designed to monitor and analyze the health and activity of bee colonies. It focuses on the internal temperature and total weight of hives, which are strong predictors of colony strength, productivity, and survival. As well environmental temperature is recorded. The dataset consists of time-series measurements collected from bee colonies. Temperature readings capture thermal regulation inside the hive, which is critical for brood development and colony stability. Weight measurements reflect foraging activity, nectar intake, and overall hive biomass. The dataset covers repeated measurements over time across multiple colonies. It is suitable for applications in ecological research, beekeeping management, and environmental monitoring. Measurements are taken each 30 minutes over 3 month period in Summer 2021.
