Short-read sequencing data generated from 15 batches of COVID-19 mRNA vaccines (Comirnaty and Spikevax), as part of a study investigating the presence and characteristics of residual DNA impurities. The vaccines were obtained from official repositories in Slovakia, and included both expired and non-expired lots. Sequencing was performed alongside qPCR, fluorometry, and capillary electrophoresis as part of a comprehensive, orthogonal analysis.
