Possible occurrence of the eastern black redstart (Phoenicurus ochruros phoenicuroides) in Belarus

This record documents a male black redstart observed on 28 November 2022 in Borisov, Belarus (54.235625°N, 28.464344°E). The bird exhibited morphological traits consistent with the eastern subspecies Phoenicurus ochruros phoenicuroides, including pale orange-ochre breast, absence of black throat gorget, and wing formula (p6 shorter than p7). Hybrid origin or variation within nominate subspecies cannot be fully excluded. Full details, photographs, and analysis are provided in the attached README.md file.
