Prospective Life Cycle Assessment of Circular Energy–Waste Systems in University Buildings: A Scalable AI‑Enhanced Workflow using openLCA and Brightway2.
收藏资源简介:
What this record contains (blinded reproducibility package). This is an anonymised, review‑stage reproducibility package for our IJLCA submission on a compact, auditable prospective‑ready operational LCA workflow for a large campus building. It includes: (i) a consolidated Supplementary Information PDF, (ii) high‑precision openLCA exports, and (iii) a minimal Python/Brightway2 meta‑model for uncertainty and sensitivity analysis. The foreground model, scenario levers, and unit factors match the manuscript and Online Resource 1. Files ESM_1.pdf — Online Resource 1 (SI): Tables S0–S7 and Figs S4–S6.S0: scenario matrix; S1: parameter definitions, units, and distributions; S2: official GUI unit factors (AusLCI v1.42; IPCC 2013) and calibration values (for consistency check only); S3: Monte Carlo settings; S4–S6: openLCA product‑system/network and GUI evidence for grid factors; S7: openLCA vs. meta‑model means (±0.5%) consistency check. ESM_openLCA_exports_v1.zip — High‑precision openLCA 2.5 Monte‑Carlo exports (per‑scenario means, σ, P5–P95; n=2000), plus contribution/summary tables used to generate Fig. 2/Table 1 in the manuscript. Background datasets themselves are not redistributed due to licensing; dataset names and (where available) UUIDs are listed in SI Table S2. ESM_Code_v1.zip — Minimal Python/Brightway2 meta‑model (n=3000, Common Random Numbers) mirroring the foreground equations. Defaults to GUI unit factors (grid 0.851/0.445 kg CO₂‑eq·kWh⁻¹; landfill 0.833; compost 0.046). Optional switch USE_K_GRID_FOR_CHECK=True reproduces openLCA means within ±0.5% (calibration‑only; reported values use GUI factors). PV handling: subtract‑only baseline (CF_PV=0) with a side‑by‑side sensitivity at 0.045 kg CO₂‑eq·kWh⁻¹. Methods & scope (concise) Study type: Attributional, prospective‑ready operational LCA. FU: 1 building‑year. Foreground: purchased LV grid electricity, MSW landfill, composting proxy; rooftop PV is subtract‑only in baseline, with a PV‑included sensitivity. Background/LCIA: AusLCI v1.42; IPCC 2013 GWP100. Scenarios (4): {Current grid, Queensland‑2050} × {≈64–66% diversion, 77% diversion}. Uncertainty/Sensitivity: openLCA MC (n=2000/scene); Brightway2 CRN meta‑model (n=3000); global sensitivity via SRC/SRRC. How to reproduce openLCA route Install openLCA 2.5 + AusLCI v1.42; set LCIA to IPCC 2013 GWP100. Recreate the compact foreground (“AEB operation, 1 year”) with LV grid (current vs QLD‑2050), MSW landfill, compost proxy. Use SI S1–S3 for parameter distributions and MC settings; S4–S6 for GUI/network evidence. Export high‑precision stats and compare to ESM_openLCA_exports_v1.zip. Python/Brightway2 route Run the meta‑model to replicate four scenarios; default uses GUI factors; enable USE_K_GRID_FOR_CHECK only for the consistency check. Toggle PV sensitivity via CF_PV=0.045 (baseline is subtract‑only). Seed is fixed (2025) to keep pairwise contrasts noise‑free (CRN). Licensing & third‑party data This record: CC BY 4.0 (recommended). Background databases (AusLCI) are not included; only numerical exports and documented dataset names/UUIDs are provided. Please obtain AusLCI v1.42 under its licence before attempting a full project rebuild. Anonymity & versioning This is a blinded record for peer review; creator names and affiliations will be added, and metadata updated, upon acceptance. Versioning: v1.0 (review stage) — will be superseded with a camera‑ready package linking to the article DOI. How to cite this record Anonymous (2025).
