The first patient-derived models of FGFR2 fusion-positive intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC) were leveraged to discover novel synergy between FGFR and HDAC inhibition, a strategy that will be explored in a clinical trial. Further, these models and synergistic biology can inform other cancers where altered FGFR signaling is a potential therapeutic target.
