Data and Code for paper "Evaporation-source Effect of Vegetation Change over the Chinese Loess Plateau on Local and Downwind Precipitation through Moisture Recycling"

This repository provides core code and a moisture-tracking dataset supporting the study “Evaporation-source Effect of Vegetation Change over the Chinese Loess Plateau on Local and Downwind Precipitation through Moisture Recycling.” The deposited files include: • PMMOD_public_release_v1.0.0.zip: Public-release code for the PM-MOD evaporation model.• Evaporation_correction_public.zip: Code for the evaporation correction procedure used to prepare moisture-tracking inputs.• mswep_merra P_track_continental_full1981-2020-timetracking0.mat: A moisture-tracking output dataset using MSWEP precipitation and MERRA2 evaporation. Because the full collection of model inputs and simulation outputs exceeds the repository’s storage capacity, this deposit contains only a core subset of the study materials.
