Highly effective technology for ammonia abatement from industry operation

Highlights: · Novel two-stage AOPs system reaches 98 % ammonia removal from industry. · Oxidation of ammonia into nitrites and nitrates supports circular economy. · Optimal conditions met with pH > 10 using KOH and gradual H2O2 dosing · AOPs enhances ammonia abatement compared to conventional methods. · Scalable and cost-effective solution for power plants and industrial facilities.
