资源简介:

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has significantly transformed how individuals access information and make decisions in everyday life. Among various generative AI technologies, ChatGPT has become one of the most widely adopted AI platforms due to its capability to generate contextual and human-like responses through natural language processing [1]. The increasing accessibility of AI systems has encouraged users to integrate AI-assisted technologies into academic, professional, and personal decision-making activities. The adoption of AI technologies has also increased rapidly in Indonesia, particularly among younger generations. A survey conducted by Populix reported that approximately 45% of Indonesian respondents had used AI-based applications, with ChatGPT becoming the most widely used platform [2]. This trend indicates that AI systems have become embedded in the daily digital activities of Generation Z users, who are highly familiar with digital ecosystems and intelligent technologies. As AI-generated recommendations become increasingly accessible and efficient, users may gradually rely on intelligent systems not only for information retrieval but also for cognitive support during decision-making processes. Despite the benefits offered by AI technologies, growing concerns have emerged regarding excessive reliance on algorithmic recommendations. Previous studies have shown that human–AI interaction can significantly influence users’ evaluation and judgment processes [3]. Research also indicates that individuals frequently rely on AI-generated recommendations even when those recommendations conflict with their own reasoning, potentially reducing decision quality and critical thinking capability [4]. This phenomenon, commonly referred to as AI reliance, reflects the tendency of users to excessively depend on intelligent systems during cognitive decision-making activities. Several factors may influence AI reliance behavior. Perceived usefulness has been identified as an important determinant affecting users’ willingness to continuously utilize AI technologies [5]. Trust also plays a critical role in shaping users’ acceptance of AI-generated recommendations during decision-making processes [6]. Furthermore, AI literacy has recently emerged as an important competency that enables individuals to critically evaluate AI-generated information and understand the limitations of intelligent systems [8]. Individuals with higher AI literacy are expected to demonstrate more balanced and critical interactions with AI technologies. This study is grounded in the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) originally proposed by Davis (1989) [5], which remains widely applied in recent AI adoption research [12]. The framework is extended by incorporating AI Literacy as a replacement for Perceived Ease of Use, reflecting the unique characteristics of AI technology adoption among Generation Z users in Indonesia. Previous studies have primarily focused on AI adoption and technology acceptance in general contexts. However, limited research has specifically examined how perceived usefulness and AI literacy influence trust in AI-assisted decision-making among Generation Z users in Indonesia. Therefore, this study attempts to address this gap by investigating the factors affecting trust in AI technology within the context of AI reliance behavior.
