Gulf of Mexico Dynamic Sea Level Anomalies Using ECCO Sensitivities and the CESM Climate Model: 21st Century Predictions and Attribution
收藏资源简介:
This dataset provides dynamic sea surface height time series, using adjoint sensitivities from the Estimating the Circulation and Climate of the Ocean (ECCO) state estimate, and surface fluxes from a High-Resolution Community Earth System Model (HR-CESM) simulation run as part of the iHESP project, with radiative forcing from 1900-2100 under the RCP8.5 scenario. The sensitivities were computed using the Estimating the Circulation and Climate of the Ocean (ECCO) version 4 release 3 state estimate, accessible at https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.15811255. The dataset also includes the sea surface height from the original HR-CESM simulation, and the sea surface height contributions from each individual flux type (surface heat flux, freshwater flux, zonal wind stress, meridional wind stress). The reconstructed SSH time series were obtained using the ECCO adjoint convolution method (Delman et al., 2026; Wang et al., 2026).
