<b>Increased Greenhouse Gas Emissions from Cryosphere-Influenced Reservoirs Under Climate Change</b>

We conducted a comprehensive search for peer-reviewed papers, dissertations, and theses published prior to January 2025 using databases such as Web of Science, Google Scholar, ProQuest Dissertations &amp; Theses Global, and the China National Knowledge Infrastructure. In-situ concentration data of the cryosphere-influenced reservoirs (reservoirs with cryosphere coverage within the basin) GHGs were collected. Additionally, we explored public databases including the Arctic Data Center, Zenodo, the Environmental Data Initiative, and PANGAEA to incorporate relevant datasets. The following search string was employed: (reservoir* OR dam) AND (cryosphere* OR permafrost OR "Tibetan Plateau" OR "Andes Mountains") AND ("carbon dioxide" OR CO<sub>2</sub> OR methane OR CH<sub>4</sub> OR "nitrous oxide" OR N<sub>2</sub>O) AND (concentration OR fluxes), covering GHG data from 1989 to 2024.
