- This is a paid dataset that requires a signed order form with PDL to access
- Our company dataset contains over 60 million profiles of companies in our identity graph.
- This data covers global profiles with a linkedin url as the primary key.

1. ROOT_COMPANY

id | The ID value is currently non-persistent and generated from the company's primary LinkedIn username.
average_employee_tenure | Average employee tenure is the average number of years employees work for the company. It is represented by a floating number greater than zero and rounded to the nearest thousandth.
employee_count | employee_count is an integer greater than zero. We calculate it by finding the number of our profiles whose job_company_id matches the company.
facebook_url | The main Facebook profile URL for the company based on source agreement.
founded | The founding year of the company.
gics_sector | GICS standard sector classification for public companies.
headline | The company’s headline summary.
industry | The self-reported industry of the company.
linkedin_id | The main LinkedIn profile ID for the company based on source agreement.
linkedin_url | The main LinkedIn profile URL for the company based on source agreement.
location_address_line_2 | HQ location information.
location_continent | HQ location information.
location_country | HQ location information.
location_geo | City-center geo code of the company’s current HQ.
location_locality | HQ location information.
location_metro | US ONLY MSA of the company’s current HQ.
location_name | HQ location information in the format "locality, region, country".
location_postal_code | HQ location information.
location_region | HQ location information.
location_street_address | HQ location information.
inferred_revenue | Company's estimated annual revenue in US dollars.
mic_exchange | The MIC code for the stock exchange that the company's ticker is listed on.
name | The company's main common name.
size | A self-reported range representing the number of people working at the company.
summary | A description of the company.
ticker | The company ticker (only for public companies).
twitter_url | The main Twitter profile URL for the company based on source agreement.
type | type will be one of the Canonical Company Types in the PDL company data. If a company has a known ticker, then its type is public.
website | The primary company website.

2. TAG

company_id | PDL company ID.
tag | Tag associated with the company.

3. NAICS

company_id | PDL company ID.
naics_code | The NAICS code associated with a company’s industry classification.
sector | The industry classification according to the first two digits in the NAICS code.
sub_sector | The industry classification according to the first three digits in the NAICS code.
industry_group | The industry classification according to the first four digits in the NAICS code.
industry | The industry classification according to the first five digits in the NAICS code.
national_industry | The industry classification according to all six digits in the NAICS code.

4. SIC

company_id | PDL company ID.
sic_code | The SIC code associated with a company’s industry classification.
major_group | The industry classification according to the first two digits in the SIC code.
industry_group | The industry classification according to the first three digits in the SIC code.
industry_sector | The industry classification according to all four digits in the SIC code.

5. AFFILIATED_PROFILE

company_id | PDL company ID.
affiliated_profile | Company ID that is affiliated with the queried company.

6. ALTERNATIVE_DOMAIN

company_id | PDL company ID.
alternative_domain | An alternate domain associated with this company.

7. ALTERNATIVE_NAME

company_id | PDL company ID.
alternative_name | A name associated with this company.

8. PROFILE

company_id | PDL company ID.
profile | A known social profile URL for the company.

9. HEADCOUNT_CHANGE_BY_MONTH

company_id | PDL company ID.
month | Month of event.
gross_additions | The total number of people that joined the company in this month.
gross_departures | The total number of people that departed the company each month.

10. EMPLOYEE_CHANGE_RATES
Churn rates represent the rate of decrease in employee headcount from N months prior rounded to the nearest ten-thousandth.
Growth rates represent The percentage increase in total headcount from 3 months prior rounded to the nearest ten-thousandth.

event_date | Month of executive changing roles. Formatted as YYYY-MM-01.

previous_role | The executive's previous job role at the old company. This will be one of the Canonical Title Roles.

value | Integer value representing the number of employees who moved from previous company to next company.

15. TOP_US_EMPLOYEE_METRO

company_id | PDL company ID.
metro | Each metro listed is one of our Canonical Metros.
current_headcount | The number of employees in the metro.
growth_rate_12_month | The growth rate in the metro over the last twelve months, rounded to the nearest ten-thousandth.

16. TENURE_BY_LEVEL

company_id | PDL company ID.
role | PDL canonical level generated from an employee's title in their experience history.
value | Average tenure by role, rounded to the nearest thousandth.

**Sourcing**

People Data Labs has thousands of contributing data sources that enhance our person and company data as well as our ancillary location and school datasets. These sources fall into two categories, our "Data Union" sources and our public data sources. The "Data Union" is our proprietary data sharing co-op. Customers opt-in to sharing their data and warrant that their data is fully compliant with global data privacy regulations. Our public data sources help us shore up areas where our data union sources are not providing enough information. These sources include open-sourced datasets, publicly available and free-use government filings, and others. This data is also globally compliant and fair use.
