Whole-genome sequencing revealed genetic diversity, population structure ad admixture of Ethiopian indigenous goats

We analyzed whole-genome sequences of three populations of indigenous goats from Benishangul-Gumuz (Arab, Fellata and Oromo), which have not been investigated before to provide insights on their genetic structure and dynamics while mapping their genetic profiles to other indigenous goat populations from Africa, Asia and Europe.
