Extreme precipitation weather type centroids for the 18 HUC2 watersheds in the Contiguous United States

This dataset contains cluster centroids of extreme weather types (XWTs) that are associated with extreme precipitation events in the 18 HUC2 watersheds covering the Contiguous United States that occurred between 1982 to 2018. One NetCDF file is provided for each of the 18 watersheds that contain the spatial patterns of XWTs in this region, the Euclidean distance (similarity) between the XWT pattern to each day between 1982-2018, and the actual date of the extreme event that defines an XWT.Options
