DUBR non-coding RNA regulates human gene expression

The long intergenic non-coding RNA 00883 (linc00883), also known as DUBR, is a novel lncRNA which is spliced, polyadenylated and abundant in human cells as evaluated by RNA sequencing data. High expression levels of this lncRNA are predictive of poor patient outcome in colon adenocarcinoma, suggesting that DUBR may be involved in controlling cancer growth. RNA-seq and ATAC-seq were used to interrogate DUBR function in regulating the epigenome and transcriptome of HCT116 cells.
