资源简介:

ACME (Angular-time Coronagraph Map of solar Ejecta) is a method for condensing a sequence of coronagraph running-difference images into a single two-dimensional synoptic map in which the horizontal axis represents time, the vertical axis represents position angle (0°–360°), and the pixel intensity represents the normalized brightness deviation from the background corona (scale 0–100, homogeneous across the full catalog). This dataset contains the complete ACME catalog derived from COR2/SECCHI observations aboard the STEREO spacecraft, covering STEREO-A from 2007 March to 2025 December and STEREO-B from 2007 March to 2014 September. For each month and spacecraft, the catalog provides a PNG summary image and a Parquet file containing the numerical data at 15-minute cadence. Also included are a Python visualization module (plot_acme.py) supporting the generation of custom plots and the overlay of external catalog data onto the maps, a summary figure of data coverage and spacecraft HEE longitude (catalog_coverage_and_HEE_longitude.png), a README.txt with full documentation, a CHANGELOG.txt with the version history and changes, and a LICENSE.txt. A full description of the method and guidance on the interpretation of ACME maps will be provided in the accompanying paper. — — —NOTE ON ACCESS: Access to the files is currently restricted while the accompanying scientific publication is under review. The catalog will be made openly available following publication.
