Annotated Corpus of Biographical Events

This dataset comprises a collection of sentences extracted from Wikipedia biographies of underrepresented writers, where each sentence is annotated with semantic roles and biographical events. The dataset was constructed via annotating sentences from Wikipedia biographies, with special emphasis on underrepresented groups and strict adherence to the TimeML event annotation guidelines. It contains a total of 218,198 predicate and semantic argument tuples, with the core tasks being biographical event extraction and annotation.
