Aminoglycoside–Peptide Nucleic Acid (PNA) conjugates against Gram-negative bacteria

Research data in the form of Tab-delimited text files: growth (OD600) of the bacterial strains (E. coli AS19, E. coli K12, E. coli WR 3551/98, E. coli K12 mutant lacking sbmA gene, E. coli ML-35 and S. Typhimurium LT2) after 20 hours of incubation with the synthesized compounds and reference antibiotics; melting curves of the complexes of the PNA oligomers and their conjugates with aminoglycosides and fragment of mRNA encoding acyl carrier protein; absorbance measurements of o-nitrophenol as a product of ONPG degradation as a measure of the bacterial inner membrane permeabilization; fluorescence of red fluorescent protein expressed in S. Typhimurium LT2 bacterial cells as a measure of the silencing mechanism of PNA conjugates in bacterial cytoplasm.
