Storm-time Energy Transfer Between Species in the High Latitude Lower Thermosphere-Ionosphere

This dataset includes hemispherically integrated values of the different heating exchange rates between ions, neutrals and electrons during the 17 March 2015 St. Patricks Day storm. The datasets were generated using the TIE-GCM model, with two different external drivers, i.e. the AMIE and the Weimer models. There also included three videos that show the time-evolution of the various heating and cooling terms during the period ofthe storm, from March 15, 2015 to March 21, 2015, from the point of view of each species.
