Soil data of the DAKIS project

Soil mapping was conducted by auguring up to 100 cm soil profile depth. The field was divided into nine transects along the main slope with 50 m distances between transects (T2, T3, T4, T5, T6, T7, and T8) with a 25 m distance remaining on either side of the field from the first and last transects (T1 and T9). The distance between auguring points within a transect was 15 m, resulting in 88 sampling points. Coordinates of each soil profile were recorded with a Trimble Geo 7X Handheld GNSS System with coordinate accuracy up to 2 cm. An auger of 100 cm was used to take soil samples to estimate soil texture and colour. This table contains the Index of the data collection.
