Air cargo traffic worldwide by region 2009-2019

Air cargo traffic increased across all regions worldwide from 2009 to 2019. Over this period, the East Asia and Oceania region had the highest air cargo traffic volume that amounted to no less than 65 billion revenue ton kilometers each year in this period. Overall, 2018 was the year with the highest recorded air cargo traffic. In 2019, air cargo traffic accounted to over 263.7 billion RTKs.
