Pocillopora meandrina Genome sequencing and assembly

The goal of this study is to sequence and assemble the complete mitochondrial genome of Pocillopora meandrina, a species of coral that plays a crucial role in reef ecosystems. The mitochondrial genome data will be used to better understand the genetic makeup of this coral species, including insights into evolutionary relationships, population genetics, and potential adaptations to environmental stressors such as climate change and ocean acidification.
