Modulation of profibrotic pathways in systemic sclerosis skin from focuSSced trial with treatment

Previous microarray analysis of skin biopsies from patients enrolled in the FaSScinate clinical trial revealed pathways modulated by treatment and associated with aggressive disease course. To further our understanding of these pathways, we performed RNA-seq on patients enrolled in the FocuSSced clinical trial to confirm the previous finding and explore new treatment modulated pathways. Overall design: RNA-seq was performed on a subset of patients that consented for pre- and post-treatment skin biopsies from the FocuSSced study across both arms.
