资源简介:

The file presents the data collected in order to whether body size correlates with the level of endoreduplication in workers of three monomorphic ant species that differ in ecology, colony structure, and life-history traits. The ant were collected in 2025 in the vicinity of Olkusz, Poland. The meaning of variables follow: species - Lasius niger, Lasius flavus, Lasius fuliginosus number - ordinal number kolony - for each species, three colonies (A, B, and C) were used 2c - number of nuclei at 2c cytometry peak 4c - number of nuclei at 4c cytometry peak 8c -number of nuclei at 8c cytometry peak HW (Head width) - individual width of head measured using microscopic methods C_value - endopolyploidy level ID - ordinal number tagma - body segment of worker, A-head, B-thorax, C-abdomen
