SELECTION OF GREEN PEA VARIETY SAMPLES WITH VALUABLE ECONOMIC AND BIOLOGICAL TRAITS IN RAINFED AREAS

This article examines the valuable biological and agronomic traits, specifically growth period duration, resistance to lodging and seed shattering, grain yield, and 1000-grain weight, of forage and food-grade green pea varieties and samples grown in a second-year breeding nursery on rainfed lands. The analysis was conducted using direct field phenological observation methods combined with mathematical calculations.
